Christmas

Kaiya got a baby walker for Christmas. She was a little bit to small for it still but she loves it, her feet can barely reach the floor now that she's had a few weeks to grow into it. Matt got a Playstation 3 for Christmas (which he was very excited about!!!). I teased him that his X-terra would be his Christmas present for the rest of his life because he has wanted one since I have known him and he never thought we would actually get one. I got some snow boots and new glasses. The snow boots have come in very handy for going out and seeing patients who live in the boonies where I have to tromp through lots of snow.

New Years

On New Years Eve we went down to Temple Square with Matt's brothers' families. The last time we were down there when they had the Christmas lights up was the Christmas before Matt and I got married five years ago and half the lights weren't on because a tree branch had fallen. So this time we got to enjoy the full experience. We rode the train on our way down to see the lights from Roy to Salt Lake. It was a little cold but fun still the same. If you look close you can see me reading in one to the pictures. I got the Twilight book for Christmas and just couldn't put it down. Sorry Mike.

Winter Fun!

Sorry it has been so long since we have updated our blog. We do have lots of pictures to catch up on though, so you will be seeing lots of posts in the next few days.

On New Years day we went sledding with Matt's Family in Utah and it was so much fun. Kaiya snoozed the whole time in her little igloo like car seat cover. There was also this huge hill that everyone decided to go down. So I finally got up enough courage to go down it with Matt and I'm pretty sure everyone else knew how scared I was because I screamed the whole way down. In my defense I really thought I was going to die.
